    Simple, Fun Operation

    The PlasmaCar is a well-designed toy that provides a thrill that belies its simple, colorful look. Driving around the house, maneuvering nooks and crannies, and going in reverse never lost its appeal for our testers. They were surprised by just how much speed the car was able to pick up considering its manual operation.

    Our testers found the PlasmaCar rides best on hard flat surfaces. Carpet, grass, gravel, and other “rough” surfaces diminished the toy’s ability to propel forward.

    Develop Motor Skills While Having Fun

    The PlasmaCar rewards good hand-eye coordination and fluid movements and provides a fun way for kids to get exercise while keeping occupied. As kids learn to drive faster and more precisely, they will be developing motor skills. Young children who have trouble propelling the car forward by steering can still have fun on the PlasmaCar by pushing off with their feet.

    Because it has no electronics or motor, this toy is pleasantly quiet making it appropriate for indoor and outdoor use.

    Putting the PlasmaCar together took our testers only a few minutes and required a rubber mallet and a screwdriver. In just a few simple steps, parents should be able to have the car ready for play.

    GOOD Things to Know

    SAFETY: For best protection, we recommend that children wear helmets and knee pads when riding. 15-SECOND ASSEMBLY: Align the flat side of the T-Bar with the flat side of the hole in the deck. Use the inside of the hole to press in the tension pin and then push. The T-Bar is secure when you hear a click. RIDING INSTRUCTIONS: Children learn to ride the Mini Micro intuitively – they pick up the weight-shifting skill on their own, so we recommend letting them experiment – it’s fun to watch their confidence grow. WHERE TO RIDE: The Mini Micro’s wheels are non-marking, so children can ride them indoors or out for year-round fun. MAINTENANCE: Upon receipt of a new scooter, a grown-up should check it to make sure nuts and bolts did not loosen during shipping, a rare occurrence, but a good safety precaution before riding, and all scooters should be checked regularly thereafter. If something does not appear ‘right’, just give us a call 888.236.5657. Bear in mind that all parts are replaceable on Micro products; thus, when a child outgrows a Mini/Maxi, it can be refreshed as needed to be passed on to a younger sibling or friend. By changing the handle bar grips, deck color, wheels, etc., the scooter can be made ‘like new’.
